
Solid Waste Management District
The Solid Waste Management District is composed of most of the same entities as the Regional Planning Commission. The Solid Waste District considers issues concerning waste disposal, planning and management, implementation of the Solid Waste Management Plan (which was originally prepared by the Commission's staff) for the Region, and distributes grant funding to local entities involved in recycling projects.

SWMD meetings are held every 4th Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the SEMO RPC Office in Perryville.

2012 Draft SWMD Plan Update
The Southeast Missouri Solid Waste Management District’s updated Solid Waste Management Plan is presented as a working draft. This document has not been adopted by the Board of Directors. This is a review copy only and suggested changes are invited.
