Diesel Emission Reduction
The Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) Program gives the US EPA grant and loan authority for promoting diesel emission reductions. The goals of his program are to reduce harmful emissions by providing funding assistance to projects that modify, replace, or repower diesel powered vehicles or equipment. SEMO RPC acts as a regional applicant for EPA DERA funds on behalf of public and/or private owners and operators of diesel vehicles or equipment stationed in the region as sub-grantees.
